GTB Lab and the Future of Circular Building in Europe

It was an honor to kick off the final event of the Circular Concept Building initiative at an inspiring location in Belgium. The setting was perfect for presenting the GTB Lab, a circular building lighthouse, and the latest research and digital tools related to the transition to circular design and construction.

The event showcased a recently completed all-electric, flexible, and affordable GTB Lab Home, demonstrating that circularity is within reach by bringing together design, construction, financial models, and logistics. An international team of architects, engineers, and manufacturers collaborated on developing the circular, affordable GTB Lab Home, demonstrating the significant potential of cross-border collaboration between the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany to accelerate the adoption of circular practices in the built environment in this part of Europe.
