Stakeholders event GTB Lab

TWO YEARS AGO was the EU symposium on circular construction and realization of Dr. Durmisevic's GTB Lab in co-production with IBA Parkstad, Stadsregio Parkstad Limburg, Municipality of Heerlen, Province of Limburg and the Dutch Ministry of the Interior.

The event was hosted by IKEA which shared its vision for circular design.

Besides it brough together public and private partners of GTB Lab around the ambition to join forces in envisioning and demonstrating new circular and regenerative building concepts that are beneficial to the environment and will reinforce resilience of future cities.

We are proud to announce that on June 22nd the construction sign for the realization of the GTB Lab© on the Woonboulevard was unveiled. This is an important step in the development of a physical innovation platform that combines knowledge, creativity and innovation around the real-life development, measurement and testing of circular building concepts for the 21st century.

We want to share the results of the GTB Lab together with all parties during this stakeholder meeting. We also look ahead to the next steps and how GTB Lab will take shape in the next 10 years and circular ambitions within Parkstad and Limburg can support.
